Golden Hooves - "Deliciously Regenerative"

By Helen Hunt on 07/02/25

CowWe’re sure you’ll have heard of regenerative agriculture and Golden Hooves ”Deliciously Regenerative” range by now, but do you and your customers know what it entails and how important it is to the future of carbon sequestration, food security, farmer security and biodiversity?  Our Golden Hooves farms are committed to not only actioning all things ”regen” but also ensuring that as many people understand the benefits of eating food produced in this way as we can. This is why we are excited to announce to Rowcliffe’s customers, the launch of our first Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D farm experience, which is now available to experience via any modern smartphone, tablet or computer. We’re inviting cheese lovers to hop over the farm gate and visit ‘Regeneration Farm’, explore the land and go beneath the soil, to learn more about the incredible work that our co-op of British farmers are doing to farm regeneratively and what it means in a simple, fun and unique way.

Part of our mission is to get regenerative food and farming into every home and to champion the work that our farmers are doing. We’d would love to invite you all onto one of our regenerative farms to get muddy wellies, but this just isn’t possible, so our new AR and 3D experience will take the farm straight to you, regardless of your location. No wellies required!

To help consumers understand more about our regenerative farming story, the AR experience, accessed by scanning QR codes on our product packs, provides a tour of ‘Regeneration Farm’, guided by farmers, Emma and Steve. While digging deeper into various regenerative actions through different touchpoints, visitors can hear the stories behind our ‘Deliciously Regenerative’ cheeses that have won a huge haul of trophies (including two Supreme Champion trophies) at the British Cheese Awards, International Cheese & Dairy Awards, Virtual Cheese Awards and Global Cheese Awards.

The AR and 3D touchpoints include grazing cows, who are naturally fertilising the soil with every cow pat, a closer look at trees and hedgerows, which are buzzing with plant and wildlife biodiversity, and a trip underground to see worms tunnelling to help the soil structure, as well as microbes, fungi and dung beetles hard at work making sure all that magical cow poo gets put to good use.
